How do I change the temperature of my water?
We recommend first adjusting the tank temperature setpoint by 5 degrees.
Your mixing valve should be automatically set between 120°F and 125°F. If you are not seeing the output temperature between that range or you are still not getting hot enough water at a faucet you may need to adjust your mixing valve. The unit is making the room cooler than I want. How do I change that?
Reservoir has a minimum room temperature setting that can be adjusted. The room temperature is auto-set to 50°F, at which point the unit will stop using the heat pump to avoid overcooling. If you wish to adjust the minimum room temperature, see page 11 of the Quick Start Guide. Note that changing this setting may affect Reservoir’s energy efficiency.
The unit is leaking.

I am receiving high pressure alerts. What should I do?
If your pressure is reading >80 PSI, you may wish to install a pressure reducing valve (PRV) and an expansion tank. Water pressure >80 PSI can cause increased wear on your pipes and stress your water system. Please contact support@reservoirhome.com for more information.
I am receiving high temperature alerts. What should I do?
High temperature alerts warn you if the output water temperature exceeds your selected threshold. The default is 130°F.
If the hot water temperature at your faucet is your desired temperature, adjust your high temperature alert threshold to meet the output water temperature. Below is a video on how to set your high-temperature alert threshold on your app. For more information, see our support article on alerts.
If the hot water temperature at your faucets is hotter than desired, adjust your thermostatic mixing valve (TMV) to regulate the output water temperature to your desired preference. Here is a support article on how to adjust your TMV.
